I was reminded of an older woman who went around my apartment complex in CA the other day and gave all of the residents face masks that she had hand-sewn herself.
She had hung them on our door handles to find the next day and it just reminded me of how these small acts of kindness during the pandemic showcase the power of compassion and community.
It made my heart warm that an elderly woman took the time to do that, and it also made me think about the ways in which we, not only as women but as people, can all help and support one another during these trying times.
